|FOR OUR GUESTS
For almost 150 years, the doors of Calvary Church have been open to the Americus community. We are a parish in the Diocese of Georgia, part of The Episcopal Church in America, and part of the world-wide Anglican Communion. As such, many of our traditions go back centuries, but our congregation is very much in the present as well, composed of a wide variety of demographic backgrounds.
We welcome you to worship with us any Sunday morning, Wednesday evening or at any scheduled service. Further, the church remains open 24 / 7 for prayer, rest, and meditation. Please come whenever you feel the need for spiritual refreshment.
|We try to be a friendly congregation, but kindly ask -- should you care to do so -- to make yourself known before or after the service to the ushers or the clergy. We want to make you feel at home in our church, and to help you in any way we can, but we do not want to intrude if you prefer just to worship quietly and go away without giving us your name.
Should you have special needs -- Baptism, Confirmation, Marriage, etc.; if you wish to consult with a priest, or simply would like to know more about Calvary Episcopal Church, please call the church office at 229 924 3908. We look forward to welcoming you in person in the near future.
